I have a friend who will be in Bend, Oregon, 99%, they have an elderly relative and being safe is their main concern.
My brother is headed to the Camp Sherman area, S and E of Mt. Jefferson. Being a photographer he should get some good pictures.
They are warning us here, in SE WA, to fill up with gas as they worry all the travelers will suck it all up.
We will have a 96% eclipse here.
I saw a full one in 1979. A dark, gray rainy day turned dark and then went back to dark gray and rainy. :-) We were in Pullman, home of WSU, at the time.
Good luck to all, be safe and have clear skies.
