We have a lot of scientists around here.

So there is talk about a March for Science since AlternativePresident (phrase lifted from Bob)
has shown alarming tenancies towards science and science communication.

There is a Facebook page. And they are on Twitter
Date is not set but will be soon.

Tonight this tweet showed up and it cracked me up:

Weather Alerts

We are getting all sorts of Weather Alerts - snow (is very, very heavy right now), sleet, freezing rain, drifts, closed roads and back to more snow, all on top of the six inches we got last week.

This alert, however, cracked me up -
"Hydrological Outlook is a disaster which is violent, sharp and harmful amendment either in quality of earth's water or in distribution or movement of water ashore below the surface or in atmosphere. A flood is associate overflow of associate expanse of water that submerges land."

Really, do you have to go to school to write that badly?

Now we howl?

We, Abby and Tar, full siblings, are now 6 and 1/2 years old.
We have just recently started howling at the answering machine.
I blame 2016 and the election.
I can usually catch the phone and stop the message. But... when the
nuclear plant calls for test drills - it calls four times in a row. I can not
hang up on those calls so during those times we get a lot of howling.
