really? what happened to gray?

I expect the use of the word 'anthracite' from a fashion designer or interior designer or decorator.
But from a football team?
Our colors have always been crimson and gray. This could be considered 'dark gray'. But anthracite - I had to look it up.
Regardless - hope they win! :-)

One hour from kickoff! We will be in the Crimson helmets with anthracite jerseys and pants!

I'm not much into fashion, so it's a good thing you explained it. I had no idea what that word meant!

Anthracite sounds like something you'd need a prescription cream to cure.

Anthracite is a type of coal. That color is not a coal color. I would say maybe slate? Or Feldspar?
