We made history - unfortunately

Fire Round-up as of 9:30am:
Okanogan Complex 227,206 acres surpassing the Carlton Complex fire of last year, this is now the largest fire in our State's history. Lightning caused 10% contained 5,140 homes threatened, 18 destroyed. Burning in trees and short grass

This picture is just amazing and it happens dozens of times a day.

(My parent's hometown from '78 to '81.)

I have to tell you, I almost didn't read this post. I cry every time I hear news about the fires in the NW. I know first hand what wildfire can do. And it's not pretty. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone! ♥

Me too. As a kid. Probably one of the reasons I am
hyper vigilant and love having a fireman as a neighbor.

I was talking with my Dad yesterday and he said they have smoke from the fires all the way up in Sumas!
Crazy.
Be careful out there!
