Weekend adventure

The Engineer was up camping and conducting a training course in Central Washington.
Late in the night they heard a roar and a crash. Turns out some teenagers decided to race
up the road and it didn't end well. One car left the road and hit a tree 11 feet off the ground.
Luckily for the three boys in the car the class members included an EMT, a doctor and a deputy sheriff.  The boys were brought down to camp, checked over and the police and an ambulance called.
Possible concussion and a lot of bumps and bruises.
The car was two days old.... As The Engineer says 'testosterone, gasoline and youth don't always mix well'.

Hope those boys understand how lucky they were. Something similar happened here some years ago and the kids hit a woman and killed her. Guilt they have to live with the rest of their lives...

Good Grief! Very fortunate for the boy that the Engineer and his friends were there to assist! It's a wonder that the human race has survived as long as it has....
