Agent Praying Mantis on duty

My first sunflower opened up yesterday complete with aphid interlopers. I caught a couple baby
praying mantis and transported them with orders to eat the aphids. Too small to see here but it is an epic battle.

The gnome gardens (seven of them - someone stop me!!) are along the house for the earliest shade and winter protection.

Praying mantis are so fascinating. But lets hope you don't have a panic in the van again, lol weren't they mantis that caused the van chaos?

Praying mantis are my favorite and I don't even know if I had any egg cases in the yard this year--I always try to watch for when they hatch and move them throughout the yard. I hope I find a few in the yard this year!
