Top Chef.... sigh

We love Top Chef. We put up with the lovingly edited shots of whatever car they are pushing and the sponsored quick fire challenges - a show's got make money.

But last night, for the elimination challenge, for a table full of executive chefs, the contestants had to use cream cheese (sponsored by The Company Who Shall Not Be Named). Is it any wonder that the three chefs who ended up on the chopping block all were the ones who had to do entrees?

I haven't watched it yet--it's on opposite American horror Story--but, CREAM CHEESE! Oy!

I used to thin kthe same thing - cream cheese is for bagels and cheesecake - until I lived in Louisiana and I saw what the Cajuns do with cream cheese. They make incredible sauces! For entrees.
