this cracks me up...

"Washington is now one of a handful of states allowing 18- to 20-year-olds to taste wine while they are enrolled in a community- or technical-college program teaching viticulture or culinary arts.
The catch: Students are allowed to taste, but not consume, alcohol. Or, as it’s known in the industry, to sip and spit."

(time out for commercial - this post brought to you by family winery back in the Old Country - Germany)

Does anyone not realize that putting the wine in your mouth is the same as drinking, even if you spit it out?
