Though we have no pond in the yard, Ozzo often smells like he rolled he dead fish.Fortunately he's about 1/5 the size of your kids so .... yeah.
Stinking stuff must be fun. We had a poodle once who would find something to roll in immediately after a bath--every time!
Dead Fish? Was it out of the pond? A fish suicide?
Old fishies and winter always produce a few (pond is about 15 years old). Strangest fishy bodies have come from Kingfishers diving into the pond, bringing out a fish and then dropping it.
