another day, another fire

The campfire smell is now normal around here. This fire is down on the Columbia Gorge across from Hood River. The terrain goes straight up so is hard to get a handle on.

Washington is the new California.
Until the California fires start up.

Bob--we've had our share around here in northern California. The North Pass fire still burns--Federal land so they simply create a fire break around it and let the interior burn. Four small fires were deliberately set by some hare-brained idiot. Air quality is as she describes PLUS we have marijuana growers. The air is so thick, I think I could get high just going to my mailbox at the end of the driveway.

good grief!
Most of the hidden marijuana around here is hidden away in corn crops.

This is "medical" marijuana. Ha-ha-ha.
I voted for the initiative too believing it would be used by those with physical ailments. What a joke.

The Dept. of Agriculture estimates that 1/3 of our local economy is derived in someway from weed. One. Third.
