Temps still in the 90s but chrysanthemums are at the store. Geraniums and zinnas have been banished to a corner of the yard. I will be prowling for pumpkins soon.
The zinnias are diseased. wah!!! They are also pink. But it is the disease that banished them. I looked it up on the interwebz and the cure is to buy healthy zinnias. I would expect to be sold healthy zinnias but apparently that didn't happen... I'll know what to look for next year. Brown spots on the leaves.
It suddenly turned Fall here this week. The highs have been in the low 70s with a few nights in the 40s. I wasn't ready for Summer to be over yet, but I sure am enjoying the change! Sad also for your zennias. They're such happy flowers, usually.
I am going to get to visit a place that has fall this year!!! So excited! Trying to explain the fall colors to my children... now they'll get to see them!

I AM NOT READY FOR SUMMER TO END!
It sure is making an exit with a bang!
I'm with Stephen not ready for summer to end. And it upsets me so to know the zinnas have been banished to a lonely corner.

We're falling a bit now....in the 60s at night and the 80s during daylight.
I'm loving it!
