Project Runway - ep 5 - Bert gives up Biggest Douchenozzle Status!

Bert struggled hard to maintain his DoucheNozzley supremacy but had to hand over his crown to JoshM who added schoolyard bully to the title. I. Was. Appalled. And then to be awarded as a good team leader. WHAT A JOKE!
And, did I see Heidi wear a spangly black jumpsuit with spangly black baggy pants and running shoes?? Tell me I did not see that!
Other random thoughts - the running for some advantage (didn't like it with Chris March), Cecillia sure looked miserable, JoshC is back and still a sweetheart and did well!, next week - ak! children! ak!

I got to see this episode and while yes, Bert is Sir Grand Douchnozzle, I thought he could have really cut loose and didn't. For all their talk of "Team", the other two team members never intended to have him be a member. I don't think there was one idea or design those two didn't reject immediately which is too bad because while he might be a douchnozzle Bert at least had the design sense to know that what the team leader put out was embarrassingly bad. As for Clinque Counter, yeah he was a turd but his turdiness produced winning looks and more importantly his turdiness manipulated the team just enough to get through a team challenge.

The more interesting conversation last night was at the judging and the whole past performance vs. single challenge and it looked like Nina Garcia took Tits down. Not surprising the very German Heidi wanted just the rules but I don't doubt somewhere down the line, Nina will find Tits hiding in the tall grass, just waiting to pounce.

A Nina/Heidi cage match is the ultimate PR dream. The contestants could design their costumes like they did when they did a lady wrestler challenge. I'm liking this! We should get creative credit...

That would be AWESOME and certainly better than making costumes for stilt walkers.

Oh yes, that debate between Heidi, Nina, and Michael got tense! Interesting episode for sure. Excellent points made in the post and comments.
