Top Chef Masters

Well, that was an interesting quickfire! Have never been that adventuresome to have tried any of it on purpose... I liked the one chef's technique of providing protein in a jar.
Was not so keen on the twists in the main challenge. I don't think a restaurant could actually operate, legally, with the first one - safety issues and regulations.
Still don't know any names but, at least, know faces!

The Hindu chef better hope there are no more live beings involved in any more of his dishes. Perhaps like a live fish?

I see risotto is an ongoing issue with Top Chef.

Are oysters alive when you buy them?
Only had them in restaurants down South.

I thought about you when I was briefly in the lovely Tri-Cities last week. I still very much enjoy visiting Froggy!

Cyberly is safe! Physically we've got free-floating asbestos, black mold I'm betting and soggy carpets.

Oysters are alive when you buy them and have to shuck them. Mussels are too, you don't want to eat dead bi-valves. Bad things happen.

We'll have to watch and see if works with oysters or mussels.

As a small child I collected mussels from the seashore. When I got home I put them in a safe place. The pocket of my robe. That is where my poor mother found them when she tracked down the horrendous smell in my room.
